Dr. Prabdeep Sekhon brings a unique blend of expertise, precision, and artistry to AV Dental Wellness Group. Born in Fresno, CA, he attended John F. Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, CA. After high school, he traveled to India to pursue his dental education. In 2014, he graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Christian Dental College in Punjab, India.
His journey continued at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he completed the International Dental Program and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2019. Following this, Dr. Sekhon pursued a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital in 2020, further honing his skills and expanding his clinical expertise.
Dr. Sekhon’s passion for dentistry began in high school when he shadowed his local dentist, witnessing firsthand the positive impact dental care can have on patients. Today, he remains motivated by the opportunity to enhance patients’ lives through exceptional dental care.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Sekhon is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the California Dental Association (CDA). When he’s not transforming smiles, he enjoys traveling, hiking, playing and watching sports, reading, and spending time with his wife and children.
